Education
Education is the foundation of the football academy. Only few of the players will really make it as professional players, most of them will end up having to find a normal job. Therefore education is very important. The main objective is for players to get their certificate and develop enough life skills to enable them to create a better future.
Junior High School (JHS) education is taught at the academy; players go through Senior High School (SHS) at nearby schools due to financial reasons (however, they stay resided at the TUFA complex).
The TUFA JHS is a private school and is therefore not open to students from outside. The school complies with all the conditions given by the Ghana Educational Service and internal quality and progress checks will be held on a regular basis. School management intensively discuss with technical staff and life skills coach (see 3.3.) the ways to give optimal guidance to the students.
