ALIDU MOHAMMED AWAL SEALS BEREKUM CHELSEA DEAL

Tamale Utrecht skilful midfielder, Alidu Mohammed Awal is on a move out to Berekum Chelsea after the Blues had concluded transfer arrangements with the Kasalans over the player’s release.

The 16 year old enforcer is the third player from Tamale Utrecht to successfully secure a transfer deal this season after Jafaru A. Somed and Alhassan Kalusha were secured TURA Magic in Namibia.

Berekum Chelsea CEO Nana Kwame Nketia could not hide his joy after completing transfer arrangement with TUFA on Friday. ‘Chelsea monitored the exploits of the youngster in the academy and we are happy today to have secured the release of Alidu who is expected to play a part for the team when the second window of the premiership opens’ Nana said

Meanwhile, Alidu will be kept active with Bofoakwa in the division one league ahead of his formal registration with Chelsea in the second transfer window.

TUFA Technical Director, Jawhari Baba Duah lauded the move of the youngster, noting that the players need to take up challenges at the higher level. ‘CK as he is popularly known will excel at Chelsea considering the depth of skill and talent in him.’ Mr Jawhari Said.
