SHILLA ILIASU ON SEASON HIGH IN ARMENIA

Former Black Stars defender Shilla Iliasu has indicated his desire to play for the Black Stars after an excellent performance for Impuls FC in the Armenia league last season.
The 29 year old has played regularly for Impuls FC in the 8 club league competition that ended on July 1, 2012 and scheduled to start on July 29, 2012 for a new season after a month break.
The tall and lanky defender is currently on a pre-season in Norway with his club and is expected to help improve their standings in the Armenia championship whilst hoping for a call up into the senior national team.
‘The Head coach, spoke to me on phone to know about my condition and he gave me the assurance of a call up soon.’ He told tufaghanafc.com
‘I hope to be presented with the opportunity once again to serve my nation.’ Shilla said
