RTU Captain - Hanan Giwa
A late goal by professionals denied Tamale Utrecht Football academy a win in a friendly match played today at the Zogbeli Park.
The match was witnessed by a large crowd that thronged the park to catch a glimpse of the professionals mostly playing in Europe and some Ghanaian big clubs produced exciting moments that thrilled the enthusiastic fans.
TUFA scored early in the first half through right back Hamdan Yakubu after picking a pass from Alhassan Kalusha.
Central Defender Alhassan Wakaso who plays in Portugal and RTU captain Hanan Giwa were assertive in central defence with RTU John Adjetey keeping the post for the professionals.
The professional squad also featured Razak Nuhu Of Stromdgest in Norway and Ghana premier league champions Asante Kotoko trio of Abdul Rahman, Fatawu Owen and Michael Anaba.
Abdul Salam Tua of division one side Guan United scored for the professional late in the game to deny TUFA its second win after three previous meetings with the professionals.
