TAMALE BASED FIFA REFEREE A.S. MALIK AND THREE OTHERS TO OFFICIATE IN AN AFRICAN CUP QUALIFIER

The 2010/2011 Glo best Ghanaian assistant referee, A.S. Malik alongside three other referees have been appointed by the Confederation of African Football, CAF to officiate in these weekends African cup of nation’s qualifier between Kenya and Guinea Bissau. Referee Joseph Lamptey will be in charge of the game and would be assisted on the lines by Tamale based Alidu Salifu Malik and David Laryea. Kumasi based Regionald Ladbridge will serve as the fourth official. The Ghanaian quartet was in charge when Congolese side DCMP beat Algeria’s J.S. Kabylie 2-0 in a CAF confederation cup match last Saturday. The officials are expected to leave the shores of the country on Thursday night for the game in Kenya on Saturday.
