TUFA THUMP ARSENALS AT KASALGU PARK
23rd of June, 2015
Mohammed Naeem registered his name on the score sheet as TUFA beat former Ghana premier league campaigners, Berekum Arsenals 3-0 at the Kasalgu Academy Park.
Naeem, 18, scored the second of the day after Captain Vincent Die had opened the floodgate in the 21st minute. The second goal settled the nerves of the home side as they marched into the dressing room with a two goal cushion.
Back from recess, TUFA never looked back as they pressed their opponents for more goals and were awarded on the 76th minutes as Razak Patrick capitalized on a loose ball to slaughter in the third goal to silence Arsenal’s charge later in the game.
The results sees TUFA remain in 8th with 25 points after 18 games and will look to improve as they travel to Atebubu on Wednesday.
