The head coach of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Baba Nuhu Malam, believes TUFA is now matured and ready to challenge any team in the country as they prepare to engage Tamale All Stars in day two of the GN Bank Division One League this weekend.
TUFA, since gaining promotion into the second tie of Ghana football, four years ago have seen a smooth transition, and Malam thinks the team is now in good shape to fight any side in the country.
He was speaking to tufaghanafc.com ahead of their short trip to Tamale All Stars in the second week of the 2014/15 GN Bank Division One League. TUFA kicked the season off on a winning note last Sunday after posting a 1-0 win over Bolga All Stars and Malam is already looking forward to another win over the new entrance.
“We have started the season on a good note, and after winning our first game against a difficult opponent, it would be a motivation for us going into this game. TUFA has grown now and with the transition currently under way, I,m optimistic the team can compete with any other side in the country” saids Baba Nuhu Malam.
