TUFA SOCIAL DIRECTOR COMMENDS STUDENTS ACHIEVEMENT BUT EXPECTS MORE IMPROVEMENT

The social Director for Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Madam Jolanda Goes, has praised the achievement of some students at the Academy saying it is a good sign that those who had challengers earlier are beginning to elevate themselves from the bottom position.

Jolanda Goes was speaking at the end of year Speech and Prize Giving Day of TUFA at the TUFA Complex in Kasalgu. She said it is good that these students are gaining the confident of the” I can do spirit”. She was optimistic that they can challenge their colleagues who have ahead of them for some time now.

Madam Jolanda re-iterated the need for students to work extra harder as concerns were raised about their overall Academic performances this year. She mentioned if they had relented in their efforts to attain the level of performance in the previous year, they would have received the praises from management. She has therefore argued them to put seriousness in their studies to better the results next term.

Awards were given to students in various capacities to motivate them in the coming years.

Abdul Mumin Abasswas awarded with the most progress student after breaking his personal record. He now occupies the 18th position after starting from the 24th.

Adam Jalaldeenalso broke his record to occupy the 15th position after failing four subjects in the previous year.

Yakubu Abdul  Aminwas adjudged the most discipline student, while master Ali was credited for his hard work as the best Teacher.

On the technical side{football}, Alhassan Mohammedovercame challengers from Alhassan Sherif and Sulemana Latif to win the best player award.
