NAMIBIA COACH WOODY JACOBS ALERTS GHANIANS OF TUFA’S RISING PROSPECT ALHASSAN KALUSHA

4th August, 2014.

Namibia U23 coach Woody Jacobs has alerted Ghanaian coaches and officials of the National U-20 team, the Black Satellites, the exploits of midfielder Alhassan Kalusha in the Namibian Premier League.

The 20-year-old on loan from Tamale Utrecht Academy plays for Tura Magic but there are reports he could be on the move very soon due to his impressive performances.

Woody Jacobs who is in Ghana with his Namibian U23 team on a training tour chipped in the exploits of the young Ghanaian midfielder during an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com.

The Namibian coach believes Kalusha deserves at least a look into any of the Ghana national teams he is eligible for.

Jacobs however warned that if Ghana is unwilling, his country is always ready to apply for a nationality switch for the Ghanaian in order to play for Namibia.

“There is a player of Ghana in Namibia, I coached him at Tura Magic in the Namibian Premier League,” Jacobs told GHANAsoccernet.com.

“I think this is one player you should look at, it is a marvel. He plays in attacking midfield.

“I think he is eligible to play for your under 23 team if not for the under 20. His name is Alhassan Kalusha.

“The coaches here should pay attention to him because he is setting the Premiership in Namibia alight. He is a good player.

“If you don’t like him, we will get him to play for Namibia.”
