SATELLITES BEAT TUFA DIVISION ONE SIDE IN FINAL WARM-UP MATCH

Ghana Black Satellites underlined their credentials as contenders for a place in the 2015 African Youth Championship slated for Senegal as they recorded a narrow score line against first division side Tamale Utrecht at the Tamale Sport Stadium to wrap up their preparations ahead of this weekend clash against Sierra Leaon.
A second half goal by Right to Dream Academy Star, Yaw Yeboah was enough to see Coach Sellas Tetteh’s side win their first warm-up game after drawing 2-2 with Premier League bounds RTU on Monday.
The team is looking forward to improving their second place position at last year’s Africa Youth Championship in Algeria where they lost to eventual winners Egypt and have therefore intensify their training scheduled to meet their target, which is lifting the trophy in Senegal.
Ghana leads 2-0 from the first leg in Bo ahead of the return leg on Saturday, 24 May at the Tamale Stadium andThe Black Satellites need a positive result to advance to the last round of qualifying where they will meet either Gabon or Rwanda for a place at the finals to be staged by Senegal next year.
Fourteen teams will compete for the seven slots available at the finals.
Ghana is three-time winners of the Championship and silver-medalists at the last finals.
