TUFA CHIEF SCOUT PREDICT TOUGH SEARCH FOR TALENTS
21st April, 2014
The head of scouting at Tamale Utrecht Football Academy, Mouazu Choo has predicted a difficult search for young talents into the Academy this year as TUFA continue to look for young players.
Over 400 young players over the weekend commenced the search for new generation of talents by TUFA at the Tamale sport stadium Annex and after a thorough assessment, believe it won’t be easy this time due to the qualities shown by the boys
Mouzu Choo said, there are very few secrets left in world football today.
Scouts will willingly travel the lengths of the globe in search of the next Messi or Ronaldo, for they know full well that careers have been made and reputations built on the back of discovering a prodigy with the potential to take the footballing world by storm.
“That's the word that swirls around the group of players here—in the northern part of Ghana. The first day of the exercise gave us the impression that we won’t have it easy this year. The boys have demonstrated that they possess the qualities we’re looking for in them and that make it difficult” coach Mouz told tufaghanafc.com
Mouzu Choo said TUFA is searching for the best talents and as such the level of play by these boys will make their work simply when they are finally selected. He mentioned that the boys have shown maturity at this level and will not be surprise to see them grown faster than expected.
