IDDRISU OSMAN:TAMALE UTRECHT CAN CAUSE RTU UPSET

Tamale Utrecht division one midfielder Iddrisu Osman insists it is not mission impossible for Tamale Utrecht to win against RTU at the Tamale sports stadium and reach the middle league for the first time.

Utrecht go to Tamale stadium as rank outsiders though they recorded a 4-2 victory over the current Zone 1A leaders at the Academy complex in the first round.

But midfielder Osman  is urging his teammates to display the conviction required to secure a landmark win at the Tamale stadium on Sunday.

He said: “In football it is about belief and confidence, especially when you have the players to do it. Obviously it will be difficult going to Camp Nou two goals down, but it is not impossible.

“We will try to play a good game and win there, and if we can do it, it would be huge for us. Always in football, you never know. You should try until the end and see what happens.” He told tufaghanafc.com.

Iddrisu Osman said Utrecht should be encouraged by their achievement in defeating the former Ghana premier league side at the Academy Complex last year to realize their dream of qualifying the team to the middle league.
