TAMALE UTRECHT DIVISION ONE SIDE INTENSIFY TRAINING AHEAD OF SECOND ROUND

The Division one side of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy have intensify their training as they bid to improve their performance in the second round of Ghana’s second tie competition. Utrecht resumed training on the 30th of December as they prepare for the difficult part of the season.
The team is looking forward to improving their third place position at the end of the first round and have therefore intensify their training scheduled to meet the congested second round fixtures.
Utrecht won three games , lost two and drew two of the seven matches played in the first round, but after attending the recently organized CAF Coaching course in Prampram, handler Mumuni Gamel believes they can only realize their dream of playing in the Middle League through hard work.

Gamel reacting to the performance of the team at the end of the first round said they need to take their chances this time round as they were made to pay for mistakes made in the first round.
"We were a bit unlucky to lose sometimes. We had some opportunities, not enough, and we were unlucky “We played quite well at times, got near the edge of the box quite regular, but didn't make an opportunity to score the goals.
"When you lose games at any club, it's difficult. We've got big games in the second round [against Galaxy and Bazooka when we resume] and we'll get the team ready for that."
