TUFA FAILS TO GO TOP OF ZONE 1A
12th December,2013
Disappointment was written on the faces of players of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy division one side afetr failing to capture to spot of Zone 1A of the ongoing Division one league. The club lost 2-1 to Bazooka yesterday at the WA park.
Two quick goals from TUFA target Razack Patricks in the 3rd and 35th minutes respectively condenmed TUFA to their second defeat of the season after round of six matches. Though the team responded with an early goal in the second half from leading striker Nuhu Salifu, it was not enough to push the team to the top.
Bazooka wnt into the match lying bottom of the table with 1ppint from a possible 15, but shocked the middle league dreamers to boost their chances of staying in the competition. TUFA will now wrap up the first round with a must win game against Galaxy FC at the Academy field on Sunday.
