AIRTEL RISING STAR ANNUAL COMPETITION KICKS OFF TODAY

The annual competition of airtel rising star which promotes and select young players of 15 years of age both in male and female categories kick starts today 31st of may, 2013 at various designated centers.
The nation is divided into Northern and Southern Zones. The northern zone comprises of Northern Region, Brong Ahafo, Upeer East and Upper West. The male category will have 2 teams for each region to have a total of 8 teams competing, while the female category will have a team each to compete for a zonal team to be selected to face the southern zone team at a later date.
The northern team departed from Tamale late yesterday with a total of 54 boys and girls and 7 officials to Sunyani where the Coronation Park is expected to host the week long competition. tufaghanafc.com will keep you updated about this competition.
