CAN GUAN UNITED SIEZE THE OPPORTUNITY?
28th of may, 2013
Things looks relatively easier and cheaper for the ‘‘penyini de penyini’’ of zone 1A Division one side GUAN UNITED for their 2012/2013 National Middle league Campaign.
This is their 4th attempt in the middle league and all eyes are on them seize that opportunity to grab the only slot for zone1 A and B that comprised of Northern, Brong Ahafo, Upper East and Upper west regions of Ghana.
It will be recall that they made it in their debut year in 2006/2007 season when WA ALL STARS Qualified, they made it again in 2008/2009 season when they had the best of materials at their disposals, but unfortunately ADUANA STARS ‘stole the verdict’ when Guan lost 3-2 to them in the opening match that aided Aduana to the Premiership since, the 3rd time was last 2 seasons(2010/2011) when again they surrounded the slot to BECHEM UNITED who could not be sustained in the Ghanaian Premiere ship.
This time around Against B.A UNITED, BECHEM UNITED and YASSIN F/C from WA and Brong Ahafo respectively. From all indications, Guan United stand the chance to make it out of the 2 former premiership and Division debutants or might face what is call the” retrogression ‘’ of middle league qualification.
