TAMALE UTRECHT STEP-UP FA CUP PREPARATIONS AT TAMALE STADIUM

The Kasalans will fine tune preparations at the Tamale Sports Stadium on Friday evening ahead of the crucial FA Cup match against Accra Hearts of Oak on Sunday.

Coach Osman Rashid side re-visits the Tamale Stadium used for the division one league last season to host the Phobians for the FA Cup who have won the competition 10 times and are posing a major threat to the progress of the Kasalans to the round of 32.

‘We are leaving no stone unturned to win the match as the players have responded very well to the tactical changes we have adopted for the match’ Coach Rashid said.

‘The team is highly motivated and eager to make history on the day’ Coach Rashid added.

Tamale Utrecht will play without midfielder Vincent Deyi who was expelled in the Division one league match against Galaxy FC last Saturday after delivering a win for his side. He will watch the match from the stands with another robust midfielder Yussif Abdul Basit who is also on suspension.

Meanwhile, the Young Kasalans will play Real republicans colts side at 1:00 pm at the Tamale Stadium as a prelude to the Tamale Utrecht and Hearts encounter.
