6 January, 2013
The Division One League Board has scheduled Tuesday January 8, to meet all division one clubs that have registered to participate in the 2012/13 league competition.
The meeting heralds the start of the second tier league which is scheduled to kick off on January 13 at all centres and 48 clubs are expected to attend.
The DOLB is expected to release the fixtures for the league at meeting and discuss with the clubs, amendments made to the organisation of the division one league this year.
Tufaghanafc.com can however revealed that, Upper East United will not be participating in this year’s league due to financial constraints. Their absence will bring to 7, the number of participating clubs in the Zone 1A where Tamale Utrecht shall play for honours with regional contenders, Guan United and Galaxy FC.
Other clubs in the Zone 1A include Wa Yasin FC, Bazooka FC, Tunde United and Yeji Juventus.
