FC UTRECHT TECHNICAL TEAM VISIT TUFA

A technical team of FC Utrecht in Holland is currently in Tamale on a two day working visit at the Tamale Utrecht Football Academy. The three man team is being led by Mr. Sander Hense and included FC Utrecht head of youth development, Mr. Henry Lee and chief scout Mr. Edwin De Keujff. They arrived in Tamale today and watched two match sessions of the TUFA U-13 and the division one.
The technical team later held a workshop on coaching, playing style and scouting with the TUFA technical team.
A presentation of FC Utrecht playing style was presented by Mr. Sander Hense whilst Mr. Henry Lee made an insight into game planning and formations.
The presentation that was supported by the CEO of TUFA Mr. Abdulai Alhassan re-emphasized the need for the TUFA technical; team adopt the playing style and formation of FC Utrecht whilst hoping that a lot has been achieved from the workshop to be able to drive the agenda of youth development.
Present at the workshop included TUFA technical director Arc Jawhari Baba-Duah, Chief Scout Muazz Choo and TUFA head coach Osman Rashid.
Tamale Utrecht U-13 will engage Tiyumba colts club on Wednesday morning for the FC Utrecht technical team to assess the team’s performance and later watch the division one side also play a match in the afternoon.
