Relegation bound RTU lose again

Real Tamale United was unable to revive hopes of their teeming fans to see them play in the next premier league when they lost to Berekum Chelsea by a lone goal today at Berekum. A late spot kick by Emmanuel Clottey secured the Chelsea the three points at the Golden city park.

RTU has now dropped to 15th on the league standings with 29 points. The Tamale based club will have to win the remaining matches whilst hoping for slips in the matches involving relegation threatened clubs to survive.
