JAFARU BEATS ALHASSAN TO BEST PLAYER GONG

Jafaru A. Somed has been crowned the Tamale Utrecht Football Academy’s Most Valuable Player for the second time at a colourful event held at the Kasalgu complex on Monday night.
The striker who also won the goal king award with 5 goals, beat off competition from his captain Mohammed Alhassan and Iddrisu Osman to emerge as TUFA best performing player of the season.
Despite missing out of the flagship award, Mohammed Alhassan won the award for most appearances after having played in every minute of the game for TUFA in the season.
Young and prolific striker Mohammed Naeem easily won the best player award in the U-13 category from his competitors and making a double with the goal king award having scored 9 goals to end the season.
