MOHAMMED TUARIK SET FOR GUAN RETURN
7 July, 2012
Mohammed Tuarik
Former Guan United defender Mohammed Tuarik is seeking to reverse his contract with Accra Hearts of Oak to enable him re-launch his career at Guan United.
According to the administrative secretary of the Tamale base club Mr Baba Nuhu Mallam, the player had not made any appearance for the Phobians this season and that, the process to reengage him for next season in the division one league is near conclusion in order to improve the player’s performance.
’we cannot rule out engaging the player on loan since our coffers are not strong enough to engage the player on permanent basis.’ Mr Nuhu told tufaghanafc.com.
The central defender whose movement to Guan United from Real Tamale United was also triggered by lack of playing time three seasons ago, gained substantial form at Guan and was released to the Phobians last season.
Meanwhile, Guan United is also expected to conclude release agreement to engage midfielder Umar Tawfiq who has also failed to make first team at Accra Hearts of Oak last season.
