RTU Captain, Hanan Giwa expected to lead the division one side
A strong select side of the three division one clubs in the Northern Region has been unveiled, and ready for honuors in a friendly against retired players on Monday at the Tamale sports stadium, when the world gather to promote peace in the Northern regional capital, Tamale.
The much awaited event that is set to rock the metropolis with the arrival of soccer legends will be whetted with the remembrance of soccer exhibited in the past as retired players shall seek to demonstrate the goal scoring prowess of two time goal king in Ghana football, Mohammed Choo and the playing qualities of his colleagues Clifford Addae, Kwame Danger and Anane Kobo.
Other past generation of retired players to entertain the crowd shall include Abass Iddrisu, Bobby Abdul Rahman and Rashid Musah against a strong division one side that includes players listed below from Real Tamale United, Guan United and Tamale Utrecht Football Academy.
