Tamale Utrecht Football Academy Under 13 side failed to maintain their invincible record wins when they were today held 2-2 by Tiyumba colts side at the Kasalgu complex in a match marred by torrential rains.

Football control and ball movements on the soggy field were difficult due to the early torrential rains prior to the match but poured sparingly during the match. The two teams had agreed to start the match after the rains seemed to have gone down and continued to play even though it rained intermittently during the match.

The Kasalans got off smoothly in the match but picked the first goal from their net after Tiyumba had capitalized on an error in defence to score from the right side of attack.

Tamale Utrecht angered by the early shot at their goal push forward in search for the equalizer and was blessed when marksman Mohammed Naeem delivered a right foot shot into the net.

Mohammed Naeem grabbed a brace after sending the young Kasalans ahead in the game but had the goal cancelled by Tiyumba to end the first half 2 goals apiece.

The second half produced frustrating moments for TUFA who made unrelenting efforts to secure a win but was denied from the water impediments on their shots and passes until the match was brought to an end.

2 goal hero Mohammed Naeem was voted the week man of the match.
