RIGHT TO DREAM ACADEMY VISIT TUFA

Officials of Right to Dream football academy today visited Tamale Utrecht football academy Complex at Kasalgu to familiarize with officials and facilities at the Kasalgu complex.

Coach Abdul Rabi Umar and the academy USA coordinator John Powers were led to the complex by the founder and CEO of the academy Mr. Tom Venon who were met on arrival by Tamale Utrecht technical director Mr. Jawhari Baba-Duah and Under 13 coach Alhassan Rashid.

The trio was conducted around the complex and later observed a friendly football match between the Tamale Utrecht U-13 side and Zaytuan FC that ended 3-2 in favour of TUFA.

They were impressed with the facilities at the complex and showered commendation on the football pitch in particular.

The team was in Tamale to poach for young talents under the age of 13 for their academy that had developed players like Abdul-Majeed Waris of Swedish side Hacken FC, Mohammed Abu of Manchester city and Godfred Saaka of local premier side Aduana United.

Right to dream academy was founded in 1999 but was officially opened in March 2010. The multipurpose built facility is located 20km south of Akosombo in the Eastern Region of Ghana and provides a home for expanding their programmes, with specialist facilities and resources located onsite and ensure students reach their true potential in life.
