13 June, 2012
45 clubs are set for the second round of the preliminary home and away league format of the northern region second division league that kicks off on Saturday May 16, 2012.
The RFA has set out a new format for this year’s league that divides the region into Zone 1, Zone 2 and Zone 3 each with two sub zones.
Speaking to tufaghanafc.com a member of the RFA committee that designed the special format, Mr. Jawhari Baba-Duah noted that the new promotion format as outlined below was designed to give more playing time to players whilst considering proximity amongst clubs to reduce financial burden on travelling.
