DUTCH TEAM RETURNS HOME WITH GOOD MEMORIES
3 June, 2012
The Dutch delegation that was led to Ghana by Mr. Frans Van sumeren to commission an ultra Morden soccer academy in Tamale has since returned home, arriving in Holland in the early hours of Sunday.
The team left Tamale for Accra on Saturday morning and checked in at the Kotoka international airport in the evening for Holland bound flight.
Tamale Utrecht CEO and accountant Mr. Abdulai Alhassan and Mr. Ibrahim Alhassan respectively were at the Kotoka international airport to assist in departure formalities for the Dutch team.
Whilst in Tamale, the team visited the mole game reserve and the Kintampo waterfalls. They also had dinner at the academy on Friday night to conclude a 5-day memorable visit to Tamale.
The team expressed great satisfaction over the colourful opening day of the academy and were elated with the enthusiasm shown by the chiefs and the people of Tamale to inaugurate the first ever academy in northern Ghana.
‘We are also impressed with the talents exhibited by the U-13 players in the opening day friendly match. There is good future ahead of the boys and we are proud of the facilities around too’. A member commented
