TAMALE UTRECHT LAUDED FOR OPENESS AND DEVELOPMENT
24 April, 2012
With just about a month away to start full operations as an academy in the region, the efforts of Tamale Utrecht Football Academy have been recognised and lauded by the stakeholders in the development of football in the region.
This was revealed by the northern regional juvenile association chairman, Mr. Alhassan Dawou on a local radio station-Bishara FM in Tamale.
Mr. Dawou commended the academy for their assistance to the juvenile association referring to a couple of times the association benefited footballs from TUFA.
He also mentioned on a question posed by the host Mohammed Nurudeen Shamuna that the club is very open in player negotiation and will reach consensus with owners of player’s right of transfers before a takeover.
‘other academies from the south usually come for our players but do not make any provision in the transfer agreements for the local clubs to benefit in the event of future transfer of the players.’ Mr Dawou said.
