23 April, 2012
Tamale Utrecht football academy at a crunch meeting today at its secretariat terminted the appointment of coach Mu-azz Choo as head coach of the club following the club humiliating 3-0 loss to Real Tamale United on Sunday in the polytank division one league.
According to the technical director Arc. Jawhari Baba-Duah, the Chief Executive Office Abu Moro who holds a Dutch coaching licence certificate will assume temporal charge of the club as coach whilst the club shops for a substantive coach for the division one side.
‘About three coaches have been pencilled down for the job and we are in serious discussions with them to find a suitable coach for the club’. Arc Jawhari noted.
‘Our target now in the league is to avoid relegation in the second flight of Ghana football’. ‘The crop of the players is youthful and we need to build them up for future competitions when we might have made our mind to play in the premier league.’
Meanwhile, Coach Abu Moro has assumed duty today at the Ghanasco field when he took the players through some tactical formations and was assisted by Coach Muniru Aziz who maintains his position as assistant coach
