We are under no pressure to win-technical director

19 April, 2012

Tamale Utrecht football academy technical director Jawhari Baba-Duah has remarked strongly that the club is under no pressure to win on Sunday against league leaders Real Tamale United.

‘Despite the hype and the tension in the build up to our return fixture against RTU on Sunday, our players are calm and the mood at our training grounds looks like we are coming up against any ordinary side like Gangdu FC.’ Mr. Jawhari noted

‘The first round tie between the two sides lived up to its billing as both team played a highly determined game with splendid performance which went the way of RTU, but TUFC technical director still believe the pride of the north starts as favourites though playing home to RTU.

‘RTU has so much experience behind them but we can only contain them if we are able to play to a good technical strategy.’

‘The match will be very interesting surpassing the first round clash because our players will feel relax and play their normal game’. ‘I don’t think about the results now, the most important thing is to play and enjoy our game’.

The technical director observed that RTU performance in their 1-0 win against Guan United was scrappy but was not an indication of an easy walk over for TUFC since RTU will normally marshal all forces to put up optimum performance against TUFC.

Meanwhile Guan United will travel to Bolgatanga to meet Upper East United who are lying second on the league table.

Juventus will be home to Bazooka FC whilst Nandom Black Bulls will rest for the week 9 fixtures.
