TUFC FRIENDLY RAINED OFF
09 April, 2012
Tamale Utrecht Football club could not play its first match after the first round break in a friendly on Sunday when the match against Liberty Babies was rained-off at the Ghanasco park.
The match has been rescheduled for Monday at the same park to begin series of matches lined up by TUFC technical team ahead of their second round opening match against Real Tamale United in a fortnight.
TUFC shall rest on the opening day of the second round of the polytank division ne league on Saturday, April 14, 2012 and thus wait the following week to engage Zone 1A leaders RTU.
Tomorrow’s match will be a good test for the recruitments the club made in the second window against last year’s division two semi-finalist Liberty Babies.
New signings Saeed Mutallib and Wahab Mumuin formerly of New Edubiase and Guan United respectively are likely to lead the TUFC attack whilst former Guan United shot stopper Wahad Danladi could guide the TUFC goal post.
TUFC are expected to play Gandu FC in Tampe Kukou on Wednesday and wrap up friendlies with a match against Dynamos FC on Sunday at the Stadium Annex.
