LUKMAN IBRAHIM WINS TOP AWARD IN U-13 COMPETITION

Creative midfielder Lukman Ibrahim of Tamale Juvenile side Standfast FC on Sunday beat his colleagues to immerge as the best player in the Tamale Utrecht Academy under 13 competition.

The tall and lanky midfielder showed tremendous skill in midfield throughout the competition and his incisive passes were always dangerous for the defence of the opposing team to deal with.

Sulemana Abdul Lateef of AC Milan in Tamale came second in the best player award category. Popularly called Messi, Abdul Lateef proved his worth with his deftly skill.

The third best player award was picked by defender Alhassan Yussif of Young Goldfields in Tamale. The young player demonstrated good defensive abilities and good in aerial ball situations.

The competition best goal award was won by Young and talented Inusah Adnan of Bagabaga FC in Tamale. The young player scored from a 30 yard volley that hit the roof of the net that drew cheers from the spectators and TUFA technical team.

The players were each presented with TUFA shirts and have also made it into the TUFA final list of players for medical examinations.
