NORTHERN REGIONAL F.A FIXES DATE FOR MEETING WITH CLUBS

The Northern Regional Football Association (NRFA) has fixed May 7, 2011 to meet with all registered second division clubs and other stake holders in the region. The meeting is scheduled to take place at the conference hall of the Tamale sports stadium and will discuss among other issues, registration and commencement of the much awaited 2011 division two league. The meeting is also expected to thoroughly discuss proposals submitted to the NRFA for consideration to change the knock-out format of the league to an extensive league format that will adequately offer competition to the clubs.

Tamale Utrecht FC would be at the meeting and would be expected to present to the meeting developments so far made on its academy complex and would also be expected to contribute to the meeting on the way forward for the development of football in the region.

About 30 clubs across the length and breadth of the region are expected to attend the meeting on Saturday.
