GARGO ADMITS POOR PERFORMANCE IN GUAN MATCH
08 March, 2012
Head coach of Real Tamale United, Mohammed Gargo has admitted his side poor performance in the 1-0 win against Guan United in the last matches of the division one league.
The coach rated the performance of his team in the 2-0 win against Tamale Utrecht in the weekend above what he supervised to beat Guan United on Wednesday.
‘We sacrificed every effort to beat Tamale Utrecht due to the opposition and went into the Guan match very exhausted, hence the scrap in our performance’ Gargo told tufaghanafc.com.
The former Black Stars player, whose victory against TUFC was also made easy by the referees, slammed the performance of the officials criticising the assistants for some offside decisions against Tamale Utrecht but maintained that his side was mentally tougher than TUFC.
Gargo Mohammed was retained by the club after he sat through as Head coach in the club exit from the premier league. He is hopeful of returning the club in the elite division next season after finishing top of the zone 1A standings in first round.
