RTU MAUL BLACK BULLS-BONGO MAKE NO APPEARANCE

Real Tamale United today mauled under achievers Bongo United 5-1 in the 4^thweek fixture of the division one league at the Tamale Sports stadium.

The pride of the North grabbed three goals in the first half but conceding the only goal before returning for the second half to increase their tally.

RTU are currently scoring the highest goal victory in a single match in this year’s national division one league despite missing a penalty in the second half.

Guan United could not however kick a ball on Saturday after Bongo United failed to turn out for the match.

Tufaghanafc.com painstaking investigations revealed that Bongo United prepared to leave their base for Tamale today to play the match but was informed later that they were supposed to play the match on for Saturday.

The fixtures of the division one league that were earlier released by the division one league board indicated a Sunday for home matches for Guan United and RTU but the two Tamale clubs protested and got Guan United to play its matches on Saturday which has not been officially relayed to clubs, a situation that might have caused the mix-up.

The two clubs will thus wait for a decision by the disciplinary committee on the matter.

Meanwhile Upper East United is continuing their lead on the zone 1A standings after crushing Yeji Juventus 3-0 in Bolga.
