4 PLAYERS FROM NORTHERN REGION INVITED TO BLACK MAIDENS
26 January, 2012
Four female players from the Northern Region were today invited by the Black Maidens team ahead of the return leg clash against Cameroun next weekend.
The players include Samira Abdul Rahman, Sawde Issah, Kadira Jebdon and Wasila Diowoore.
The women’s under 17 national team under technical direction of Coach Mashud Dramani are poised to grab one of the three slots to represent the continent in the female under 17 world cup later this year.
They are expected to beat Cameroun in the second leg in Accra after recording a 1-0 win against their opponents in the first leg in Yaoundé.
