TUFC IN ACCRA-RECIEVES CITI FM BRUNCH TIME ATTENTION
19 January, 2012
Tamale Utrecht FC arrived in Accra on Thursday night for the Friday FA Cup clash with Danbort FC and news of their arrival was immediately carried over Citi FM, an Accra radio station.
Former Filla FM disc jockey Gadafi who is now with Citi FM made known the entry of Tamale Utrecht to the capital on his programme-the late drive hour, after news got to him that the team had arrived from Tamale.
Players and Technical staff on the bus responded with cheers to the recognition of the team’s arrival by the DJ to re-emphasise the club’s high spirits ahead of tomorrow’s clash.
TUFC will go into the game with a good away record and will be expected to play with the confidence to beat their host that are also debutants in the upcoming division one league after gaining qualification from the Greater Accra division two league last year.
