DIVISION TWO DISCIPLINARY COMMITTEE SITTINGS - SIX AWAIT VERDICT

Six clubs including Tamale Utrecht Football club are awaiting the decision of the division two disciplinary committee on the last matches of the division two league.

Tamale Utrecht Football Club has submitted to the disciplinary committee the club account of the aborted match against Galaxy FC where referee A. Alhassan was beaten by fans of Galaxy FC.

The disciplinary committee is also looking at the case involving Sakabo FC and Dynamos FC where the match was also ended abruptly after an attack on referee Gyan. The two clubs have also submitted their club account of the incidence awaiting the decision of the committee.

However, Tamale Allstars and Liberty Babies appeared before the committee today to explain circumstances leading to the withdrawal of Allstars from the match before it was abandoned.

The disciplinary committee is expected to present their ruling tomorrow on the three cases to determine promotion of three clubs to the next round of the competition.

The following clubs have already picked places for the next round of the competition.

• Shakur Allstars
• Kumbungu Binbieng Stars
• Lingbinsi Soccer Angels
• Sawla United
• Salaga Jakpa Warriors
• Savelugu Yoo FC.

A total of nine teams are expected to make it to the next round of the competition following the withdrawal of Gushegu FC.
