PERFORMANCE OF PLAYERS ABROAD II

Midfielder Mohammed Abu scored a goal for his Norwegian side Stromgodset on Sunday as they drew 1-1 with Sogndal in an away league game.Mohammed opened the scoring in the 54th minute for the visitors but an injury time goal by substitute Brochmann cancelled the lead.

The 20 year old got his contract extended by Manchester City last week as he is only on loan at Stromgodset. He made his debut for the Ghana National team last week when they beat Sudan 2-0 in an Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.

Three Northern Ghanaian players were in action for Stromgodset with Razak Nuhu and Adam Kwarasey and Abu playing the entire duration of the game.

Stromgodset are eighth in the table with just four matches to end the season.
