ANDRE AYEW CONTINUES SCORING FORM AND RAHIM OUT FOR 6 WEEKS

Andre Ayew continued his scoring form in the French Ligue one despite being ignored by the Black Stars Coach Goran Stevanovic for upcoming national assignments. The Attacker equalised the scores on 20thminute after bundling home from close range to give struggling Marseille a deserve point at home to Brest on Sunday .Andre younger brother Jordan Ayew was introduced in the Marseille team after 61 minutes of play.

Meanwhile, the eldest son of of Abedi Pele Ayew, Rahim Ayew was not part of the Lierse SK team in the Belgian Jupiler league that suffered a 2-0 away lost to Standard Liege on Sunday. The Right back suffered a tear in the adductor muscles in the game against Cerlce a week ago and would be out for 6 weeks.

Also in the Belgian Jupiler league, KV Kortrijk beat KV Mechelen 1-0. Iddi Abdul Yakin played the entire duration of the game for KV Mechelen but could not help his side secure a point.

Mubarak Wakaso watched proceedings from the bench seeing his side Villarreal struggled to draw 2-2 at home to Zaragoza on Saturday. Compatriot Abdul Majeed Waris has yet to return from a thigh injury for his side BK Hacken that beat Trelleborgs FF 1-0 at home.

Shilla Illiasu also featured for FC Impuls in their 2-0 win away to FC Ararat in the Armenia league on Saturday. The win has jumped FC impuls to 3rdplace on the 8-club league standings.

In the Dutch Eridivisie, Goals from Rodney sneijder ,Johan Martensson and Jacob mulenga gave FC Utrecht 3-0 win over RKC Waalwijk. TUFA ambassador Nana Asare captained and played the entire game for FC Utrecht.
