NEW SENSATION ACKON HITS BRACE IN TUFC WIN

Tamale Utrecht football club new sensation Nana Ackon today hit a brace to secure a 2-0 win for TUFC in a friendly match played at Nyankpala on Sunday.
The Striker scored in the first half after tapping in a rebound from Adam A. Basit kick and headed home the second in the second half from Muniru A. Aziz’s free kick.
Striker Jafaru A. Somed was introduced into the game in the second half after a long layoff from injury and nearly put his name on the score sheet after failing to connect from Alhassan Kalusha’s pass.
TUFC are expected to resume training on Monday awaiting the release of fixtures for the next stage of the division two competition.
